Takara Tomy’s “Transformers Missing Link” action-figure series is a virtual reprint of toys that might have existed in the original era! What if Ultra Magnus had been available as a toy back then?

Ultra Magnus is Optimus Prime’s skilled right-hand man and a key character in the Scramble City Project! Introduced as a key product around the time of the introduction of the 2010 “Transformers” series, Ultra Magnus became a popular item thanks to its play value, as the white Optimus Prime-type robot combined with the carrier unit to form a larger robot. Now, in the “Missing Link” lineup, he’s equipped with even more features and a completely new design!

• The Optimus Prime-type robot that corresponds to the truck unit is based on the C-01 Optimus Prime from the same series, with some new parts added to accommodate the combination mechanism with the carrier unit. While retaining the partially die-cast construction, the movable joints allow for flexible posing even when combined.
• The car carrier’s vehicle mode can carry multiple “Missing Link” items (sold separately), and can transform into a variety of formations, just like the original models, such as a maintenance base, command base, and mobile operations base.
• In addition, the legendary Powered Buggy that was included with “Diaclone” items before they were released as “Transformers” has been recreated based on the idea of its being included with Ultra Magnus back then! The mechanism, previously consisting of swappable parts, has been redesigned for complete transformation, and it is included as an all-new Transformer with the name Deer Stalker!
• Also, the wheels that were removed from Ultra Magnus’ chest protector have been added back, restoring his Protector Machine form. Each can be played in conjunction with Ultra Magnus himself.
